Enjoy the Vegetarian…non vegetarian snack – Soya chap at Gautam Nagar

Have you been wondering or craving to try something which will satisfy your palate and rather fulfil the taste of non vegetarian snack.

Do not regret, the Tandoor is now getting heated for Vegetarian items as well. Thanks to Tandoori items specially soya products like Masala Chaap, Stuffed Chaap, Malai Chaap, Soya Tikka, also items like Paneer Tikka, Stuffed Aloo, Mushrooms are already well known. The tandoori soya items are right now the show stopper for vegetarians.

There is no doubt that Soya is high on protein and comes along with various health benefits for our overall body. Studies prove that it helps to strengthen your bones, heart and also help to prevent hormone related cancers.

So I hope the stage is set and you might want to feel the difference and bite a bit of these chaaps. Let it go and do not stop yourself from having that, just walk in to Gautam Nagar, Delhi. The nearest metro station is Green Park and another 10 mins from the lanes will take you to this Punjabi Chaap Corner. It is a neat and clean place and safe as well.

The above picture feels like you are seeing a marinated tandoori chicken hanging and waiting for you to order one. But these are the soya chaaps varieties with different marination’s. Starting from left this place offers you choices from Stuffed chaap, Achari chaap, Pudina chaap, Masala chaap and many more… The show stopper and my favourite is Malai Chaap, just amazinggggg. You can pick some of the regular vegetarian snacks like Paneer and Seekh kababs also.

Though I am hard rock non veggy but believe me the taste of Malai soya chaap here is SOULFUL and SINFUL. Nothing beats it and this keeps me bringing here again and again. At par with any other item and a taste paradise. Here is the first glimpse:

The texture is well done and the moment it touches your tongue it just melts like anything and you can feel the charcoal aroma as well. One tip – Try it with a Rumali roti and you just gonna love the combination.

What are you waiting for go and enjoy the most amazing chaaps of this time but only after 6 pm in the evening. This is when the place is open to serve everyday. They also have an outlet in Malviya Nagar and do not hesitate to go and have a blast at one of this places. The last time I was there with my colleagues, we actually had 7 plates of different chaaps but Malai chaap is a must have. Go for a kill.
